Seed quality measurement

High-throughput quality assays were experimental setup through infrared measurement. Currently, about 8,000 lines have been analyzed, providing a good resource for the seed quality studies.

NIR 6500systems(Foss) and ISIscan software were used to measure and analyze seed quality of each homozygous mutant line. The measurement results include six parameters of seed quality: moisture (%), fat (%), protein(%), starch(%), amylose (%) and gel consistence(mm).All value of each line were the average of three independent sample measurement results.
